In recent years as we have discussed in our previous article that there is now a drastic change in the process of rearing our livestock, generally, all poultry farmers use cage to rear their chicken. We categorically divide CAGES into three categories: BROILER CHICKEN CAGES, LAYER CHICKEN CAGES AND PULLET CAGES. Each of the cage has its differences.

Broilers attain a  body weight of around 2.2-2.4kg within 6 weeks because they tend to eat more and drink more than other species so this aids their growth and their cages are designed in such a way that suit their characteristics ;their nipples are different from others while LAYERS weigh1.5-1.8kg at their sexual maturity(20-22 weeks).

Layers cage always come with basket in which at the point of laying eggs, their eggs can roll their while BROILER CAGE does not come with basket.

LAYERS can only be kept in their cage at the point of laying eggs while BROILERS can be kept in their cages right from a day old.

The density of feeding in BROILER CAGE is different from that of LAYERS CAGE.

The BROILER CAGES must be caged; this is necessary for preventing the chicken from running away and easy to feed, so the horizontally adjustable baffle in front of the cage and the adjustment range should be larger than that of LAYER CAGE.

The bottom net of the BROILER CAGE has two features; one is that the bottom net is flat, there is no dip; the bottom net of the other one can prevent the occurrence of the chest cysts

The BROILER CAGE and LAYER CAGE are off different capacity.
These and many more are their differences, as they have difference, same way they have similarities.
